Depressing news stories…

I had to take my wife to the hospital yesterday afternoon, so I wasn’t able to watch the news stories as closely as I usually do.  Therefore, when I logged in this morning, I found lots of stories that I need to comment on.

Such as:

There were a few more, but it’s too depressing to go on…

How much is integrity worth?

I found a story on Digg today about Democratic senators who voted for the telecom immunity and the amount of money they received from the telecoms themselves.

Guess who got the most money out of this deal?  C’mon, guess… (more…)

Obama turned traitor, and I don’t feel too well myself…

Well, if you haven’t heard the news, Obama has voted in favor of telecom immunity.

Why all these John McCain links?

If you keep up with this blog at all, you probably realize that I am definitely NOT a Republican. Heck, the only reason I vote Democrat is that they are closer to my beliefs than the Republicans.

Closer, not close. It’s like the difference between the distance to Uranus and Pluto. They’re both far and I wouldn’t walk to either of them. (more…)
